Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 3, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cover Your Assets Holding LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as CYA Card Grading ("CYA," "we," "us" or "our"). They apply to cyacardgrading.com, the CYA Card Grading mobile app, and our card grading services (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, submitting cards, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

CYA Card Grading is a veteran-owned business. You can reach us at:

Cover Your Assets Holding LLC, dba CYA Card Grading · support@cyacardgrading.com

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • Age. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to submit cards or make purchases. Users aged 13 to 17 may use the app only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms and is responsible for their use. The Services aren't for children under 13.

  • Your account. Accounts are created through our website platform. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. You're responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your password private and tell us right away at support@cyacardgrading.com if you think someone else has used it.

  • Tracking codes. Each submitted card gets a CYA number and a private tracking code. Anyone with both can view that card's status, so keep your tracking code private and never put it in your package.

  • Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, or by emailing us. What we delete and what we keep is explained in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a CYA Pro subscription billed by Apple or Google; cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings.

3. Grading services

What we grade. We currently grade sports cards only. Trading card games, including Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, are coming soon. We ship within the United States only.

Service levels. You choose a service level for each order at checkout:

  • Bulk (25-card minimum): Price per card: $39.99 · Estimated turnaround: 60 calendar days · Maximum coverage per card: $500

  • Silver: Price per card: $49.99 · Estimated turnaround: 30 calendar days · Maximum coverage per card: $500

  • Gold: Price per card: $69.99 · Estimated turnaround: 15 business days · Maximum coverage per card: $1,500

  • Platinum: Price per card: $99.99 · Estimated turnaround: 5 business days · Maximum coverage per card: $2,500

Every level includes AI-assisted analysis and validation by a human grader to the same CYA standard. Cards declared over $2,500 need a written quote from us before you ship. Prices and levels may change; the price shown at checkout applies to that order.

Turnaround. Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. They start when we've received your cards and your order is fully paid, and don't include shipping time either way. Volume, holidays, problems with a submission or events outside our control can cause delays. A delay isn't grounds for a refund.

Matching the right level. If an order doesn't meet its level's requirements (for example, fewer than 25 cards at Bulk, or a declared value above the level's coverage), we may move it to the correct level. We'll tell you and invoice any difference, which must be paid before grading begins.

Declared value. You agree to declare each card's fair market value accurately and honestly. The declared value decides which service levels are available and is the basis for any claim. Under-declaring a card's value limits what we can pay if something goes wrong.

Shipping to us. Ship only after you've received your order confirmation with each card's CYA number. Pack your cards following our Shipping & Packing instructions and ship with tracking. You're responsible for your cards, including loss or damage, until we receive them. We strongly recommend insuring valuable cards on the way to us.

Return shipping. Return shipping isn't included in grading fees. It's a flat fee of $14.99 per order, charged at checkout, and includes the carrier and insurance for the trip back to you. We ship to the address on your order, so make sure it's correct.

Cards we can't grade. We may decline to grade a card that we believe is altered, trimmed, recolored, counterfeit, too damaged to grade, too thick for our holders, or outside the card types we accept. We may also decline any submission for another legitimate reason. If we can't grade a card, we'll return it with your order, but its grading fee isn't refunded, as described in Section 4.

Authenticity and alterations. A CYA grade means we found no evidence of alteration using our process. It isn't a guarantee that a card is authentic or unaltered, because some alterations can't be detected.

Grades are opinions. A CYA grade is our professional opinion of a card's condition at the time we graded it. Other grading companies may grade the same card differently, and we don't guarantee any grade in advance. Grades are final, except that we'll correct a clear clerical error, such as a wrong name or number on a report, at no charge.

4. Fees, payment, cancellations and refunds

Payment. Grading fees and return shipping are paid in U.S. dollars at checkout on cyacardgrading.com. Card payments are handled by our checkout provider; we don't see or store your full card number. Any sales tax is added where required. Grading is a physical service, so it's paid on our website, not through Apple or Google.

Discounts. CYA Pro members get $5 off the grading fee for each card they submit while their subscription is active. Discounts can't be combined unless we say so, and have no cash value.

Cancellations and refunds. How much we refund depends on how far your order has gone:

  • Before we receive your cards: Grading fees and return shipping, minus payment processing fees

  • After we receive your cards, before grading starts: A partial refund of the grading fee, based on the work already done

  • After grading has started: No refund of the grading fee

  • We decline to grade a card (Section 3): No refund of that card's grading fee

Return shipping isn't refunded once your cards have shipped back to you. To cancel, email support@cyacardgrading.com with your order number. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 10 business days.

Unpaid balances. We won't grade or return cards while an order has an unpaid balance, such as an upgrade difference. If a balance stays unpaid for 90 days after we've notified you, we'll stop work on the order and return your cards ungraded once you've paid the return shipping fee.

Returned or undeliverable packages. If a return package can't be delivered because of a wrong address or because it wasn't picked up, you'll pay the cost to ship it again.

5. Cards in our care and claims

Our responsibility. We're responsible for your cards from the time we receive them until we hand the return package to the carrier, and the return shipping insurance covers the trip back to you. We handle every card with care, but cards can be damaged or lost despite reasonable care.

Limit per card. If a card is lost or damaged while in our care or on its insured way back to you, the most we'll pay for that card is the lowest of:

  1. its declared value,

  2. its fair market value just before the loss, as reasonably determined by us, or

  3. the maximum coverage for its service level ($500 for Bulk and Silver, $1,500 for Gold, $2,500 for Platinum, or the amount in your written quote).

This is our only obligation for lost or damaged cards. We aren't responsible for normal handling marks that don't change a card's grade, for flaws that existed before we received a card, or for loss or damage before we receive it.

Making a claim. Inspect your return package when it arrives. Report any damage or missing cards to support@cyacardgrading.com within 14 days of delivery, with photos of the package and cards, and keep all packing materials. We'll work with the carrier on insured shipments. If we pay a claim for a card's full value, the card belongs to us if it's later recovered.

6. The CYA Card Grading app

Card scans. The app can identify a card from your photos and estimate its condition using an artificial intelligence (AI) service. A scan result is an estimate from photos, not an official CYA grade. Photos can hide flaws, and the AI can make mistakes, including misidentifying a card. Check results before relying on them.

Scan limits. Free members get 10 scans per calendar month, and CYA Pro members get 250. Limits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC), and unused scans don't carry over. Scans that fail because of a problem on our side don't count toward your limit.

Card values. Values and price estimates in the app come from third-party sales data provided by SportsCardsPro and are updated automatically. They're estimates for your information only, not appraisals, offers to buy, or guarantees of what a card will sell for. Real prices depend on the exact card, its condition and the market.

Should I Grade? This paid feature compares a card's estimated value raw and at likely grades, after grading and return shipping costs, to help you decide whether grading may be worth it. It costs $0.99 per card for every member, including CYA Pro members, paid as an in-app purchase. You're charged only when we return a full answer; if we can't, you won't be charged or the purchase will stay available for your next check. You can view the same card's answer again free for 30 days. The answer is a suggestion based on estimates, not financial advice or a promise of any grade or profit.

Your collection. You can save cards, photos, values and notes to your collection. Free members can save up to 50 cards; CYA Pro members have no set limit. You can export your collection to a spreadsheet. Keep your own copy of anything important, since we can't guarantee the app will always be available or that data will never be lost.

Availability and changes. We may update, change or stop any app feature, and some features may be unavailable at times. If we stop a feature you've paid for in advance, we'll tell you how we'll make it right.

7. CYA Pro and in-app purchases

What CYA Pro includes. Card values, 250 scans a month, unlimited collection tracking and the grading discount in Section 4. Features may change over time.

Price. CYA Pro costs $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year in the United States. Prices in other countries or app stores may differ and are shown before you buy. We may occasionally offer promotional prices; a promotional price applies only as stated in the offer.

Free trial. New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial, once per account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you're charged automatically at the end of the trial.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. If the price goes up, you'll be told in advance as the app store requires.

Canceling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your CYA account doesn't cancel it. After you cancel, you keep CYA Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds. Payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their policies. We can't issue refunds for app store purchases ourselves.

One-time purchases. Should I Grade? checks are one-time purchases that are used up when we return a full answer. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.

When Pro ends. If your subscription ends, you go back to the free plan. Your saved cards stay in your collection, but you may not be able to add new cards beyond the free limit until you're under it or subscribe again.

8. Reports, acceptable use and content

Public DigiGrade Reports. Every card we grade gets a CYA DigiGrade Report that anyone can view by entering its CYA number, so buyers can verify a grade. Reports show card and grade details only, never your name, contact details, order details or tracking code. Reports and grades stay viewable after you sell the card or delete your account.

Using CYA grades when you sell. You may show a CYA grade, report or photos of a CYA-graded card when selling that card, as long as you describe it accurately. You may not misrepresent a card's grade, alter a label or report, or put a card in a holder or with a label that we didn't issue for it.

Acceptable use. You agree not to:

  • submit cards you don't own or aren't authorized to submit, or that you know are stolen or counterfeit;

  • give false declared values or false information;

  • use the Services for fraud, or to mislead buyers about a card;

  • try to get around scan limits, payments or security, or access another person's account, cards or tracking codes;

  • scrape, copy or resell our reports, values or data, or use bots or automated tools against the Services, except as we allow;

  • reverse engineer the app or interfere with the Services, except where the law allows; or

  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or that isn't a photo of a trading card.

Your photos and content. You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process and display them to provide and improve the Services, including sending card photos to our AI provider to identify and evaluate cards. We'll use them as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload them. Photos we take of cards during grading belong to us and may appear in reports.

Our property. The Services, the CYA Card Grading name and logos, DigiGrade, our grading scale, reports, labels, holders, software and content belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and website for your own use. They don't give you any right to use our trademarks.

Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. App stores, disclaimers and limits

Apple and Google. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms, and these Terms are between you and CYA only, not Apple or Google. For the iOS app: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; if the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any), and Apple has no other warranty obligation; Apple isn't responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims; Apple isn't responsible for investigating or defending any claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party services. The Services rely on providers such as Wix (website, accounts and checkout), Anthropic (AI card analysis), SportsCardsPro (price data), Apple and Google (app stores and in-app payments) and shipping carriers. We're not responsible for their services, outages or data, and your use of them may also be covered by their own terms.

Disclaimers. Except for what we expressly promise in these Terms, the Services, scan results, values, Should I Grade? answers and all other information are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Nothing we provide is financial or investment advice, and we don't guarantee any card's grade, value, resale price or return on grading.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost sales or loss of a card's expected value or grade, even if we were told they were possible; (b) our liability for lost or damaged cards is limited as described in Section 5; and (c) our total liability for all other claims about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so some may not apply to you.

Indemnity. You agree to defend and hold harmless CYA and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your false declared values or information, cards you submit that you didn't have the right to submit, or how you represent a card to a buyer.

10. Disputes and general terms

Talk to us first. If you have a problem, email support@cyacardgrading.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally before starting any formal claim.

Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Denton County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the effective date and tell you through the app, the website or by email before they take effect. Orders already placed follow the Terms in effect when you placed them. If you keep using the Services after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

Suspension and termination. We may suspend or close your account, or refuse an order, if you break these Terms, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. If we do, we'll return any cards in our care, less amounts you owe, unless the law requires otherwise. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as payment, claims, licenses, disclaimers, limits and disputes, survive after these Terms end.

Other terms. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier delays, severe weather or service outages.
