CYA Card Grading is a veteran-owned card grading company based in Texas. The name says it: Cover Your Assets. Your cards are assets, and we treat every one that way, from the moment it arrives until it's back in your hands.

Why we started CYA

Grading shouldn't feel like a coin flip. Too often, collectors wait months and get back a single number with no explanation. We built CYA so every card comes back with a full 1,000-point breakdown, and you can see exactly why it earned its grade.

How we grade

Every card is analyzed by AI for centering, corners, edges, surface and print, then physically checked and validated by a human grader. AI brings consistency; a person makes the final call. No card gets a CYA grade without human eyes on it.

What we stand for

Integrity. We grade the card in front of us, not the name on it.
Consistency. One standard at every service level, from Bulk to Platinum.
Accuracy. A 1,000-point score across five areas, not a guess.

From the founder

I've been collecting for decades, and I love this hobby. But every time I sent cards out to be graded, I ran into the same frustrations: long waits, results I couldn't understand, and little evidence behind the grade.

As a veteran, I believe in doing the job right and standing behind it. So I built CYA to change what it's like to get a card graded, with real transparency, real evidence and real service from submission to return.
